We are looking for a professional, career-minded individual for a full-time ESL teaching position in Taiwan!

You will work with a team of teachers from the United States, South Africa, and Taiwan. Our spacious, sunlit school is brand new, opening in August of this year. We offer English as a second language classes to students age 13 and younger. You will teach approximately 22-24 hours per week to start, with the potential for additional hours in the future. Most classes fall between 9 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday.

Our school is located in the beautiful, modern Linkou District of New Taipei City. Linkou is one of the fastest growing parts of Taiwan and has been popular in recent years with young professionals and families who wish to enjoy city life at a more reasonable cost of living. Modern high-rises and malls share space with traditional markets, manicured parks, and historic temples. Linkou is served by the Taoyuan MRT Airport Line (Linkou Station stops near our school) and numerous bus lines, putting the cities of Taipei, Taoyuan, and other parts of New Taipei City within easy reach.

Compensation Package:

Starting pay from 650 to 700 NTD per teaching hour, based on qualifications and experience
Annual pay appraisals up to 40 NTD, up to 800 NTD per teaching hour
Additional 3,000 NTD per month compensation for completing outside-of-class work
Guaranteed minimum of 20 teaching hours per week average, with 22-24 teaching hours week anticipated to start
Bonuses for completing contracts and other milestones
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (all majors accepted)
Passport from a country where English is an official language (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, etc.)
Can commit to at least one year of full-time work
Must be able to pass a national-level criminal background check
A positive attitude, willingness to learn and professional approach to the job
Training and Development:

Comprehensive initial training incorporating core teaching skills, teaching English as a foreign language, and our proprietary curriculum
Follow-up trainings during your first year, observations and feedback from head teachers and trainers, and opportunities to participate in seasonal and curriculum-specific trainings
