Australian Academy of Commerce is seeking fully qualified ELICOS teachers to join our expanding academic department for an immediate start in 2024

Located in Ultimo, AAC delivers high quality ELICOS courses, and we require English teachers who are energetic, enthusiastic, inspirational, and who want the best for our students.

At AAC, we offer a strong mentorship and Professional Development program for newly qualified teachers, which will enable you to gain a strong foothold within the industry.

The available roles are for casual teachers working a minimum 20-hour week.

We are looking to fill our MORNING SHIFT;

Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 2:15pm

All classes are face-to-face only.

NEWLY QUALIFIED TEACHERS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY!

SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• a strong and deep knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation
• excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• native or bi-lingual speaking skills
• a proven ability teaching English as a Second Language in a multi-cultural setting
• a willingness to learn new skills through Professional Development
• an ability to work with others

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

1. recognised three-year full-time undergraduate degree in any field
2. TESOL certificate (CELTA / TESOL / Cert IV TESOL, MA TESOL)
3. at least six hours supervised and assessed practice teaching in TESOL
