ESL Job in Perth
$52.86 – $69.19 per hour
Milner College is a family owned and operated English Language college located in the Perth city centre. We are looking for ELICOS teachers for our Evening General English course. We have full-time casual and part-time casual positions.
In this role you will:
Provide quality learner-centred ESL lessons for our Evening General English Course.
Assess students’ English language development and provide regular feedback
Fulfil administrative tasks such as monitoring students’ attendance and completing progress reports
Comply with the policies and practices outlined by the school
Be professional and respectful to all staff and students
Required skills and experience:
Must have a Certificate IV in TESOL
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
A strong work ethic
Be culturally aware
A passion for teaching and engaging with students
Ability to work with students of different levels
Ability to support and mentor students
Relevant IT knowledge (experience with online teaching is desirable)
Casual ESL teachers are paid under the relevant Modern Award between $52.86 and $69.19 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
